Due to COVID-19, we have altered our regular in-person rehearsal schedule and venues.
In-Person Rehearsals and Sectionals
Since mid 2020 we have been able to return to in-person rehearsals and sectionals. All members and attendees were expected to follow COVID-secure guidelines and maintain social distancing. We are fully risk-assessed and compliant. We have very much enjoyed playing together in person again!

Throughout the Pandemic and continuing we have tried to keep in-person sessions as safe as possible so that our vulnerable members have been able to attend whenever possible. We are still requesting that no one attends an in-person session with Infections or any kind of illness that could be transmitted to others during a rehearsal/sectional.
As far as possible, it is necessary for members to book in advance into each rehearsal and sectional event to aid our preparations and save time collecting subs. You can find a list of upcoming rehearsals and book online directly on the Members Area page. New or prospective members, please contact us if you would like to attend a rehearsal.

Dates and venues of rehearsals and sectionals are reviewed half term by half term at the moment. Wherever possible we book the Bawtree Hall, Hazelwood School, for Wednesday rehearsals and sectionals. Sometimes alternative venues may be used, in particular St Peter's Church Hall Limpsfield, St John the Evangelist Hurst Green, Oxted United Reformed Church and occasionally Godstone Scout headquarters. We are still booking venues which have plenty of space and good ventilation. Current information for dates and venues is on the rehearsal calendar at the foot of this page.

Zoom Virtual Play-Alongs

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we were holding virtual rehearsals and sectionals on Zoom. Zoom calls, live from rehearsals and sectionals are usually still available for those who cannot attend the in-person sectionals during this COVID-19 transition period.

New Members
​
For prospective members who would like to join us for the first time , please drop us a note via the contact form beforehand so we can send you the relevant information for either Zoom or in-person rehearsals. We are non-auditioned and do not require grades, and we would love to hear from you!
Schedules & Venues
Full rehearsals are generally twice a month and sectionals once a month. Please see the rehearsal calendar below for the most up-to-date schedule and venues.
Players are asked to bring along their own music stands and a mug for tea breaks. Please note that full-orchestra rehearsals and sectionals may take place at different venues.

Two or three times a month, Wednesdays at 7:30pm

Note: St. Peter's Church Hall is opposite St. Peter's Church in Limpsfield. Please use parking by the Main Hall.
