North Downs
Community Orchestra

The North Downs Community Orchestra is a fun, friendly, amateur orchestra open to all musicians who play an orchestral instrument. We are comprised of beginners and maestros alike, and many of us have returned to music after not having played for a period of time. Our shared love of music, fun, and playing in an orchestra and ensembles is what brings us together. Open to musicians in the North Downs region of Surrey, Kent, East & West Sussex, and South London.

What's New

Violin Shop

Specific instruments needed! Can you help us fill our empty seats?

We are in need of more violins, violas, double bass, french horns, tuba and bassoonIf you play any of these instruments, or know someone who might want to join us, please send us a message via the contact form.

If you do not play any of these instruments but want to join the NDCO, we would love to have you join us anyway! We don't have seat caps on instruments, and we don't turn away players based on numbers. We always welcome new members aged 18+, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

The Fun Orchestra

We're a friendly, welcoming amateur orchestra based in Oxted, Surrey. Our members comprise of amateurs and maestros alike, and we play everything from Mozart to Moon River. Established in 2016.
